Science & Technology Committee

The Science and Technology Committee of the VMVLA is dedicated to expanding the horizons of the Alliance into the burgeoning world of 21st Century Science. The need to understand and encourage new technologies that will aid the world must be balanced with the necessity of regulating and restraining technology that may be harmful. It is this balance that is the intersection of science and the law.

Science & Technology Committee

The VMVLA is making its first foray into the Science and Technology Community at 2023 Nanotexnology in Thessaloniki, Greece. This annual conference, now in its 17th year, combines multiple disciplines of the emerging nanotechnology sphere of science and industry, including nano-medicine, nano-engineering and 3-D printing, nanotechnology and food production, and nanotechnology and bio-sustainability. This year, for the first time, the conference will include a session on Law, Ethics, and Nanotechnology, thanks to the efforts of S&T Committee Chair Ilise Feitshans.
